We offer many different community programs and workshops to assist people within the community to achieve their best possible health & well being. All our programs are free.

Healthy Eating & Nutrition

  • Cooking-On-A-Dime — A workshop on the preparation and cooking of affordable healthy food.
  • Guys In The Kitchen — A cooking and nutrition program for men.
  • Healthy Holiday Baking — A workshop on healthy holiday treat preparations.

Physical Activity

  • Fitness Classes for Older Adults & Seniors — Weekly program in different locations.
  • Lanark Highlands Walking Group — A weekly walking group with monthly guest speakers.
  • Active Seniors Koalition (ASK) — ASK provides numerous activities around the community.
  • Get WITH It — Walking In The Halls

Self-Management & Support

  • Changing By Choice — A six-week program for smokers that want to quit.
  • Living a Healthy Life — A six-week self-management for people with persistent health concerns.
  • Ruby Tuesday's — A support and discussion group for women.

Healthy Young Families

  • Single Parents Saturday Support Group — A monthly mutual support group for single parents.

Supplemental Programming

  • International Women's Day Mothers, daughters and sisters get together — Friday, March 4, 2011.
  • March is Nutrition Month — Come learn and cook with us, Wednesday, March 30, 2011.
